I’m Marco Monaci and I’m a master student of astrophysics at Pisa University. My research and study field is the low density interstellar medium, in which the stars typically don’t form and the dynamics of these interstellar clouds are managed by turbulence. Studying the interstellar medium is quite complex, so I use various radio telescopes to catch the organic compounds hidden in the interstellar medium. When the skies are not so blue, I’m involved in science popularization, managing some public laboratories at Festival della Scienza in Genova and at Internet Festival in Pisa. In my (little) spare time I play (in a terrible way) drum set, caving and I’m try to become a better League of Legends player.
